                                         Sub- non issue of identity cords to

Respected sir,

                            

                                         it was brought to the notice of this union that in WB Circle, particularly in north Bengal region in many divisions ID CORDS were not issued to casual/contingent workers working in post offices, even though  DEPT.OF POST was declared as essential services and they have to work without any break and attend to their duties regularly.

                                         Because of this they are facing trouble to attend duty, as they were detained by police and asking to show the identity cords. In this connection, we submit that already Dept issued instructions to issue duty passes to all the staff including casual/contingent workers in the division by Dvnl. Superintendents. All the circles are strictly fallowing these orders. But complaints are receiving from WB circle only on non implementation of directorate orders.

                                    

                                  

                                        As such you are requested to issue instructions to Dvnl. Superintendents to issue passes to all staff including casual/contingent workers and see that they will attend to their duties without any problem with piece of mind.
