Respected madam,

                                     Sub- request for early settlement of revision of wages of casual. part                                                              time contingent workers of the department

                 

                                 we are constrained to bring to the notice of kind Secretary, department of post who has taken charge recently the fate of low paid neglected section of the department that is casual/ contingent employees who are working in the department since more than 20 years and who are deprived of wage revision from 1-1-2006 on the plea of various reasons and even payment of DA was stopped without any reason.

in spite of our pursuance there is no progress except appointing committees but sending reports to finance & DOPT. They are being deprived of all legitimate rights given to them by DOPT because of non implementation of its orders in the department,

in this back ground we are left with no other alternative except resorting to trade union action. in this we convey our sincere thanks to NFPE for extending their co operation in our support.

it as decided to conduct one day hunger fast before DIRECTORATE as a protest for the inaction of the department.if the issue is not settled by that time we will be left with no other alternative except to resort to serious trade union action in consultation with other federations deemed fit.

As such Secretary is requested to look into the matter seriously and settle the matter at the earlies

       AN EARLY ACTION IS REQUETED.

CASUAL, PART-TIME, CONTINGENT EMPLOYEES WAGE REVISION

CASUAL, PART-TIME, CONTINGENT EMPLOYEES WAGE REVISION

             Kerala Circle Union filed contempt petition in CAT Ernakulam Bench against non-implementation of CAT Judgement directing immediate wage revision with effect from 01-01-2006.

               Department requested extension of time CAT granted two months extension upto 27th August 2014.

              No further time will be granted.

              Please see CAT order below.

NFPE & CASUAL, PART TIME, CONTINGENT AND CONTRACT WORKERS FEDERATION ANNOUNCED HUNGER FAST INFRONT OF DAK BHAVAN, NEW DELHI ON 12-08-2014 DEMANDING REGULARISATION AND REVISION OF WAGES W.E.F. 01-01-2006.

          Secretary General and All General Secretaries of NFPE will participate in the programme.
